Indian Institute of Technology(Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad offers degree programmes at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level. At the UG level, the institute offers BTech programmes in 13 disciplines. These disciplines include Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mining Machinery Engineering, Mineral Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Engineering Physics. IIT Dhanbad BTech Admission Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
For admissions to BTech programmes at IIT Dhanbad, candidates will be required to meet the eligibility requirements for Jee Mains and JEE Advanced . IIT Dhanbad BTech Admission and Selection Process :
IIT Dhanbad’s BTech admissions is a three-step process:
Step 1: Eligible candidates are required to qualify JEE Main. Top 2.2 lakh engineering aspirants who are able to clear this exam will be eligible for JEE Advanced.
Step 2: After getting through the first stage, aspirants will have to appear for JEE Advanced. Admissions to BTech programmes at IIT Dhanbad will be based on the rank acquired in JEE Advanced.
Step 3: After the declaration of JEE Advanced results, eligible candidates will be required to appear for JoSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) online counselling. The process typically commences in the month of June every year.
So,Once JEE Mains & JEE Advanced are completed and their results are declared,ISM will conduct the Entrance Exam
