JKCET Determination of Merit List 2018







The examination authority have prepared JKCET merit list 2018 based on the inter-se merit of the candidates in the entrance exam. Merit list of JKCET 2018 has been prepared for for all cenadiates with mention of their category. Candidates who wish to take admission in participating institute of JKCET must obtain at least the minimum qualifying marks in JKCET 2018 as prescribed for different categories under the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules.



If two or more candidates gets the equal merit, then inter-se-merit of such candidates will be taken into consideration. Mentioned below is the criteria:



Case1-Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in JKCET 2018 will be considered.



If tie still prevails, then



Case2-Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in entrance exam will be considered.



If tie still prevails, then



Case3-Candidates older in age to be preferred.

JKCET Cutoff 2018







After the declaration of the result, examination authorities will determine JKCET 2018 cutoff based on which mist list for the candidates will be prepared. Therefore, it is important for the candidates to get minimum cutoff marks or more than cutoff marks to get admission into various B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes ofJKCET 2018in Jammu and Kashmir states.







Highlights of JKCET Result 2018



Result of JKCET 2018 will be available in both the offices of the BOPEE at Jammu and Srinagar, apart from the official website.



Candidates who will not be satisfied from their scores obtained in the entrance exam and want to re- totaling of scores will have to pay Rs. 1000 at the POS terminal at BOPEE office Srinagar/Jammu. Moreover, candidates need to be aware that examination authority will only consider the written request along with payment receipt, within 5 days after the declaration of JKCET result 2018.



After the declaration of JKCET 2018 result, merit list will be prepared and based on that candidates will be called for counselling and seat allotment procedure.



The result of JKCET 2018 will be valid for admission to B.Tech programmes for the session 2018-19 only.

Based on the merit list, qualified candidates will be called for JKCET 2018 counselling 2018. The examination authority will conduct the counselling of JKCET 2018 in offline mode that is candidates will have to visit the venue as prescribed by the authorities. Candidates will have to carry all the documents along with their photocopies for the document verification. During JKCET counselling 2018, candidates will get chance to indicate their choices/ preferences regarding colleges and courses.
