Hello,
The University of Delhi has not announced anything regarding this course.
Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar announced on February 7, 2019, that the 2-year Bachelor of Education might soon be dropped in favor of a 4-year integrated teacher training programme.
The four-year B.Ed course will be conducted in three streams BA, B.Com and BSc. The course, when implemented, will save the aspirants one year since they can join it right after their Class 12, against the current system of first doing graduation and then the two-year B.Ed.
But changes and approval from both government and university commission are not started yet. Neither Delhi University announced any official statement regarding this. Therefore, before implementation and official announcement, it is difficult to predict when will this course start in DU.
Currently, B.Ed and B.El.Ed (Bachelors in Elementary Education) is offered by the University of Delhi which are under Faculty of Education.
Now coming to B.Sc B.Ed.
B.Sc.-B.Ed. is a four year ( divided into 8 semesters) integrated programme which aims at integrating general studies in sciences and professional studies in education. It provides a wide knowledge base for becoming an elementary and secondary school teacher.
Eligibility for this programme is passed in the senior secondary examination (class 12th ) with science stream along with minimum percentage as prescribed by the university.
The following universities/institutions provide this course-
