Yet there is not taken any decision on reopening of colleges.

In Maharashtra colleges can restart from December or in  new year. Updates will be given regarding that. However online classes are being conducted wherever possible, Engineering , and science graduation classes are going on online.

In Schools  also teachers are taking periods online.

Hello. As per the recent news, it states that the colleges will probably get open in mid November, that is mostly after diwali occasion.

It is stated by government of Maharashtra.  But there is still a cause of dilemma due to covid cases.

As of now no one can tell the exact date when the colleges will open in Maharashtra or any part of the country. In this pandemic situation we need to maintain social distancing. Hence online classes are the only option. Nevertheless, you will be informed beforehand by your college authorities when the college will reopen.

Even though the Union Education Ministry had issued guidelines to state to reopen the colleges from 15 October. Maharashtra minister of higher and technical education said that the current pandemic situation in state is not conductive to open colleges and universities.

The minister said that the decision of reopening of schools and colleges will only be taken after assesing the covid condition. The decision of reopening colleges and schools in Maharashtra will be taken only after Diwali.
