Dear Ankit, for taking admission in IIT you have to score well in JEE ADVANCED and for JEE ADVANCED you have to qualify JEE MAINS. So, the first step is JEE MAINS. Registration for JEE MAINS for Jan session is over on 10th Oct. But for Kashmiri migrants it's still open till 11.59 P.M. today.
If you are Kashmiri migrant then you can surely apply for JEE Mains.
Registrations for JEE MAINS April Session will begin on 7th Feb 2020(Tentatively). So, you can wait till then.
All the best
Hope this helps

hi,

to get admission in iits you need to clear jee main exam and jee advance exam both. jee main is the entrance exam for admission in  private colleges , state engineering colleges and nits, iiits. based on jee main score a cutoff marks will be released and candidates who qualify that score will seat for jee advance exam which is the entrance exam for iits.
