The JEE Advanced qualifying cutoff is usually released after the JEE Main April attempt results. Since JEE Advanced is conducted for students who qualify JEE Main, the National Testing Agency (NTA) first declares the JEE Main cutoff for JEE Advanced eligibility along with the April session results. This cutoff determines the minimum percentile required to appear for JEE Advanced. The final qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced itself, which determines selection for IIT admissions, is released by IITs after the exam results. Therefore, students should wait until the April JEE Main results to know if they are eligible for JEE Advanced.
