MAT 2019 is one of the important national level MBA entrance exams for admission to more than 300 MBA colleges in India. AIMA conducts MAT exam four times a year. Next MAT exam date is May 5, 2019. MAT full form is Management Aptitude Test. There will be three MAT May 2019 exams in the same month. Out of the three MAT May 2019 exams, the first is the paper based test on May 5 followed by computer based MAT exam date on May 18 and phase-2 paper based MAT May 2019 exam date on May 19.
MAT Registration 2019: Dates & Process :
MAT 2019 May Registration process is open till April 26, 2019 for the first paper based test. The MAT registration 2019 last date for computer based exam is May 10 and the MAT 2019 registration last date for the phase-2 paper based exam is also May 10. MAT registration fee for one MAT exam is Rs.1550/- and for two MAT exams is Rs.2650/-. The MAT registration process is online only.

How to Apply for MAT :
The AIMA MAT May 2019 exam application process for paper based test and computer based test is online only.
You have to apply for MAT May 2019 by login at official AIMA website.
The first step to apply for MAT Exam is to fill up MAT application form online at AIMA website
The second step is to make payment of MAT May application and exam fee online
The third step is to submit the MAT application form online
The MAT 2019 registration and application fee is Rs.1550/- for one MAT exam and Rs.2650/- for two MAT May 2019 exams
The last date to submit MAT exam application is April 26 for PBT and May 10 for CBT MAT May 2019
MAT Question Paper: Duration, Sectional composition & Scoring pattern :
MAT May 2019 test paper has a time duration of 2½ hours.
There are 200 objective type questions in MCQs form in MAT question paper of May MAT exam.
Question difficulty level is easy to moderate
MAT exam is divided in 5 sections with 40 questions in each section
Each correct answer is awarded +1 Mark
Each wrong answer is penalized with negative marking of -0.25 mark
MAT exam sections are Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Indian and Global Environment.
Merit Score in MAT exam is calculated on the basis of 4 sections only and the score of Indian & Global Environment is separately shown but is not taken into account to calculate the merit or percentile in the MAT May 2019 score card. MAT score card displays scaled score out of 800 Marks and not out of 160 or 200 raw scores
