Yes in general speaking of most CET, yes as long as you've scored more than 50% or what ever minimum aggregate they are expecting you to score, you will be eligible for the exam. Let's say you have written supplimentary for this years board exam that you didn't perform well, the result for that will come a bit late and it's certificate will be even later so there's a chance you'd not be able to produce the documents in time. Incase you are able to gather the necessary documents in time ie the results, then you can proceed for the admission.
For example. In KCET, you have to have all status as passed thus after giving supplementary exam, you have to wait for a year and then get admission.
