Hi Akshay anand,
Hope you are doing well.
As NEET 2021 was conducted on 12 September 2021 and result was declared on 1 November 2021. As everybody knows there is case in supreme court regarding the criteria of EWS category reservation. The court will take decision on 6th of January 2022 and only after that we can expect NEET UG and NEET PG counselling to be started by MCC.
The MCC website had stated that the NEET counselling 2021 schedule will be announced soon. MCC conducts NEET counselling on the behalf of Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS). The counselling process will have multiple rounds and will be conducted to facilitate the allocation of seats at the All India level (AIQ) and at the State level. The AIQ category will allow 15 per cent of the total seats in every participating medical college and the rest 85 per cent seats are reserved for the state medical colleges for the candidates belonging to the respective states. In order to get some clarity regarding the NEET UG counselling process, candidates can read this article based on last year's counselling process.
All the best.
Hi aspirant,
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon commence the NEET counselling process in the online mode for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and BSc Nursing courses across the medical colleges in India. However any official dates for the same are yet to be announced. According to the latest update, NEET 2021 counselling dates are expected anytime soon on the official website mcc.nic.in. Furthermore no clear reasons has been provided by nta regarding the delay in counselling but it can be assumed due to some technical reasons also there are some questions raised over wrong marking and inconclusive physics questions asked in the examination.
Admissions to 15% seats in all Government medical and dental colleges, all seats of Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) & AFMC including Delhi University (DU), BHU , AMU , and AIIMS & JIPMER will be through the AIQ NEET 2021 counselling process.
Through NEET counselling, around 20,089 seats will be filled under 15% All India Quota (AIQ), all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges.
For more information on the same, you can visit NEET Counselling 2021 Dates: Registration (Soon), Advisory (Released), Documents Required, Seat Matrix (careers360.com)
