TANCET - Tamil nadu common entrance test.

It is being conducted annually by the Anna University. I.e anna University is it's governing body. It is conducted for the candidates seeking admissions to MBA MCA M. ARCH M. TECH. Admissions are provided by the colleges affiliated by the anna University.

Nearly 35000 students are expected to register for the exam. It is a pen paper based exam. It's for 2 hours duration. There are 400+ colleges under this exam.

This year TANCET is expected to take place during the month OF MAY 2019 and results will be declared in June 2019.

Candidates who have completed there final year of Graduation can apply for this exam. Those candidates with a valid GATE score with qualifying marks in relevant course need not have to appear and apply for TANCET

Students from outside Tamil nadu are also eligible to apply for this exam provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria set by them.

TANCET exam centers are in Tamil nadu. So students outside TN will have to come here to appear for the exam.

TANCET EXAM PATTERN-

THE exam consists of 100 MCQ questions.

The medium of paper is English.

The exam is for 2 hours.

It has 3 sections. Verbal ability and logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, DI.
