Hello aspirant,
MBA i.e., Master's of Business Administration requires an Bachelor's degree to be eligible for the program.
It doesn't really matter what kind of bachelor's degree have you pursued when it comes to the placements unless you have some serious work experience of at least 1.5 to 2 years in any specific domain.
The placements also vary based on the tier of the business school, i.e., you cannot expect McKinsey to visit a tier-2 or tier-3 college.
Therefore, to answer your question it really doesn't matter if you have done a BSc in Microbiology or Physics when it comes to placements. All that matters is how you perform in the 2 years of your MBA and how you perform in the summer internship (which is an essential element in almost every B School).
