where do we need to apply for CW quota for admission in Mbbs
Hello Aspirant,
The quota for Children/Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces (CW) is 5% of seats is earmarked for nominees under this section in all academies.
The procedure differs from college to college. Below is the procedure for DU College
- All the CW applicants are expected to submit the Academic fee reimbursement documents in the enclosed format given on the official website.
- Cutoffs are published if the prospect's scores are more than the cutoff.
- The student is called for evidence of statements, temporary admission is done and an admission document is given by the academy and then ultimately the admission takes 2–3 days to finalize the process.
All the CW applicants need to submit the academic fee reimbursement statement in specified layouts to be handed out by any of the succeeding councils on the legal envelopes.
- Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, Delhi.
- Secretary, Rajya Zila Sainik Board.
- Officer-in-Charge, Record Office.
- 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate.
- Ministry of Home Affairs (For Police staff who received Gallantry honours)
Preferred priority order
- Widows/offspring of Defence staff killed in warfare.
- Offspring of Defence staff who were immobilized in warfare and boarded out.
- Widows/offspring of Defence staff who departed during ceasefire on-duty.
- Offspring of Defence staff immobilized during ceasefire on-duty.
- Offspring of assisting Ex-servicemen staff comprising staff of police divisions who receive Gallantry Awards.

- Gallantry Awards are Param Vir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal, Maha Vir Chakra, Kirti Chakra, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Vir Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, Yudh Seva Medal, Sena, Nau Sena or Vayu Sena Medal, Mention-in-Despatches, President’s Police Medal for Gallantry, Police Medal for gallantry.
After this priority order is
- Offspring of Ex-Servicemen.
- Spouses of serving staff.
