Hello aspirant, I hope you are doing good.

42 percentile is very less to get to a good government college. You can give one more chance to yourself by appearing in April session. Just make sure to revise and clear your concept regarding your weak points. Keep on practising relevant questions . Make last 10 years to get a rough idea about the questions pattern and go in that direction. You can definitely do it with dedication and hardworking. You can also appear next year if you are not prepared this year.

I hope this helps.

Hi Moin !! Hope you are doing well!! According to your score, it  would be difficult for you to get admission in college's for engineering (B.tech)  .  But you can surely get admission for bsc courses in any College according to your boards marks. You can take up bsc and prepare well for next year in a proper way to score better than this. Else you can also try the second turn of jee mains in April and try to improve your score.

Hi dear,

You have scored 42 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 504025. You can also calculate your rank as

Rank=(100-your percentile)×869010÷100

With this rank you have negligible chance to get any government college. You should reappear in april month exam and perform better.

Hope it helps.

42 percentile is very low score and at this score your approximate rank  can be /calculated by the following formula

(100-Percentile score)*869010/100, since 869010 students appeared for JEE Main January.

For you it comes out to be 504025 which is not a good rank and any college which has any sort of competition would be not very easy to give admission at this percentile.

However you can use JEE Main college predictor to predict the possible college
