IAS is the highest administrative post among the 24 services like IPS, IFS etc. Popularly known as the IAS exam, officially it is called as Civil Services Examination (CSE), which is conducted every year by the central recruiting agency, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Indian Administrative Service (IAS) has been termed as one of the prestigious services among the 24 government services like IPS, IFS (Foreign), IFS (Forest), IP & TAFS, IAAS, IRS, IDAS, CMSE, IRTS, IRAS, IRPS, ITS, CAPF-AF to name a few.
The IAS Exam pattern is:

3.Stage III: UPSC Personality Test (IAS Interview) :
Candidates who clear the Mains stage of the IAS exam with the required cut-off marks qualify for the final stage of the IAS exam i.e., the Personality Test or Interview round with the UPSC Board Members

IAS stand for Indian administrative services, one can become an IAS officer through UPSC examination.
UPSC eligibility is provided below :-
*You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university
*Minimum age limit :- 21 years
*Maximum age limit :- 32 years , there's 3 year relaxation on upper age limit for obc and of 5 years for Sc/St.
If you want to become an IAS officer then first of all you need to be a graduate in any discipline of your choice as per the above eligibility criteria mentioned and then you need to appear in one of the toughest examination called UPSC, and it has 3 stages which are listed below :-
*The first stage of the exam is Preliminary examination (objective )
*The second stage, Mains (written).
*If you manage to clear both prelims and mains then you are to go through third stage i.e interview/personality test .
And if you managed to clear all the three rounds mentioned above, then congratulations you may become an ias officer
