If you talk about the storage location in an Android device in a mobile phone there are mainly two locations where the files and other media are stored.

First, it depends on the accessibility which are given in your phone settings to whether store the file in your internal memory card or rather it gets stores in your inbuilt phone memory which is fixed at the time of manufacture. The external memory or the SD card which we insert also has a certain capacitor depending on the model of the phone but it can be changed based on your requirements.
