Don't Miss: Best Online MBA courses by Top Universities
Hi Prajwal,
GRE may not be required. You need to ace GMAT and IELTS. The list of top universities that are also within one's reach are as follows
Some of the top MBA colleges and universities in the world are:
INSEAD : https://www.insead.edu/
Harvard Business School : https://www.hbs.edu/mba/Pages/default.aspx
HEC Paris : http://www.mba.hec.edu/
Stanford Graduate School of Business : https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/programs/mba
University of Pennsylvania – Wharton : https://mba.wharton.upenn.edu/
London School of Business : https://www.london.edu/programmes/masters-courses/mba
For most of these colleges, a GMAT score is necessary, although Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and London School of Business also accept GRE scores. Despite this, the GMAT score is always preferred more than the GRE by the admissions committee as it has a higher level of quantitative evaluation which is requisite for an MBA.
Apart from this, simply a good score in GMAT (around 680+) will not be enough to gain admission as applicants are also required to have a good IELTS , TOEFL or PTE score and the average amount of work experience for a majority of these programs in 5 years or more. Additionally, numerous essays, letters of recommendation and interviews also form the basis of the criteria for admission, therefore, simply focusing on a GMAT (or GRE) score for admission to a foreign university is not enough to gain admission.
