Where the download book is saved
The default location of downloaded PDFs will depend on your device and browser.
Windows
Default location: C:\\\Users<Your Username>\\\Downloads
Other Locations: Change browser settings to different location
macOS
Default Location: /Users/<Your Username>/Downloads
Other Locations: Change browser settings to different location
Android
Default Location: Files app > Downloads folder
Other Devices: Download location can be changed in Device settings.
iOS (iPhone/iPad):
Files App : Look for your downloaded PDF in the Downloads folder via the Files app.
Safari: Links of downloaded PDFs often appear in the Books app.
Other Apps : If you downloaded the PDF using an app, try the download folder designated by that specific app.
Tips to Find Your PDFs
Use Your Device's Search Function : Search for related terms of the title of the content of the PDF.
Check History of Your Browser: Most browsers keep tabs of the downloads you have recently made. Tracks are easily accessed.
Check if it is saved in the Cloud: You may have automatically synced the PDF somewhere in Google Drive or Dropbox.
Use a File Manager Application: If you need to search for files within your device, file manager application helps.
If you cannot locate the downloaded PDF, try rebooting your device; or check with your browser's download settings if you had difficulty downloading it.
