Desktop computer (Windows, macOS, Linux):
Default download folder:
Windows: In general, the downloaded files end up inside the "Downloads" folder. To find this folder, open File Explorer and navigate to the Downloads folder.
macOS: In general, the default download location is the "Downloads" folder inside your user directory.
Browser-specific settings:
Some browsers allow you to decide a specific location where you want to download. Check through the browser's settings if you've selected a default location.
Mobile Devices (Android, iOS)
File Manager App
Open the "File Manager" app or equivalent on your device.
Tap a folder called "Downloads."
Browser App
Go through the browser's history or a settings area to find where you downloaded the eBook.
Specific to eBooks from Online Libraries and Platforms:
Overdrive: eBooks downloaded from Overdrive may be found in a default download folder on your device or within the Overdrive app.
Amazon Kindle: eBooks downloaded from Kindle typically can be found in your Kindle application or on your Kindle device.
Google Play Books: eBooks downloaded from Google Play Books typically can be found in the Google Play Books application.
If you can't find your eBook using these tips, here are a few more suggestions
Find your eBook on your device using its search feature: Type the name of the eBook or author, followed by keywords in the search.
Look for eBooks in your cloud storage: Have you synced it with Google Drive or Dropbox?
Check your browser's download history: Most browsers keep a history of files downloaded.
