Hi there! If you want to take admission in LPU in UG program you have to qulify eligibility criteria. Once the result of JEE main will out LPU will issue new guidelines related to cut-off and passing criteria for JEE mains.
For further clarity you can look into this:-
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST (https://nest.lpu.in/btech/question-paper-pattern-for-lpunest.php) *.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)
* The LPUNEST exam offers convenient choices to candidates: Online remotely proctored from Home (recommended by the university, based on available resources) or Test centre-based options.
To confirm your eligibility and the exact requirements for your desired program, it’s best to visit the LPU admissions website or contact the admissions office directly.
hi,
If you scored 73 marks in JEE Main, you can consider applying to Lovely Professional University (LPU) for admission to their B.Tech programs. LPU accepts JEE Main scores for its engineering admissions and generally has a flexible admission policy.
To apply, you should visit LPU’s official website and navigate to the admissions section . Here, you’ll find information on application procedures, deadlines, and specific requirements for the B.Tech program. It’s also advisable to directly contact the LPU admissions office or visit the campus to get personalized guidance and confirm if your JEE score meets the required criteria for your chosen program.
While a score of 73 might be competitive, LPU’s admission decisions can also consider other factors such as your 12th-grade performance and any special criteria for the program. Contacting the admissions office will provide clarity on whether your score is sufficient and any additional steps you may need to take.
Hi dear ,
In some programmes LPU exempted LPUNEST if student score 80 percentile or more in JEE(MAINS) . If you score less then 80 percentile in JEE(MAINS) and LPUNEST exam is mandatory then you can apply for LPUNEST exam to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the programme.
LPUNEST is not only for eligibility but also provides scholarships.
You can apply for LPUNEST exam from the LPU's website.
Hope it helps
73 percentile in jee mains is really very good score but here in LPU it is not enough to direct admission in B.Tech so you have to clear an entrance test of lpu which is lpunest but if you are interested in some other exam then the eligibility criterias are different where university do not consider Jee mains.
let me explain about the eligibility of btech:- Pass with

One of the top ranking universities of India - the Lovely Professional University gives direct admission to the students scoring equal to or more than 85 percent in JEE Mains. They are given scholarships as well. However, those having scored less than 85 percent need not feel disheartened. They can appear for LPUNEST - the entrance cum scholarship exam of LPU and appear for the proctored test sitting at home. You may get a huge scholarship as well. Let me tell you the NIRF ranking of LPU is 51 in engineering. Hope this answers your question. Good Luck
