whether presidency University bangalore is best or normal to pursue BTech in ai and ml
Hey there!
It is a new, State Private University. However, if your getting in through CET, the fee is lower. On the contrary, if you get in through Management Quota, the fee is too high.
It is a good university if you are not making into IISc/IIT/NIT/IIIT/ UVCE/BMSCE/RVCE/MSRIT/BIT/ DSCE when compared to Bangalore standards.
However, Presidency has decently good faculty and they follow a curriculum of BITS Pilani with decent faculty base.If you want pursue AI/ML as semester subject then you have to pursue CSE/IT branch in BTech/BE. But practical knowledge is a bit low here.
Please refer to this link to check CSE syllabus in this university https://presidencyuniversity.in/content/uploads/2019/04/Program-Structure-Computer-Science-and-Engineering.pdf
Hope this helps...
Have a nice day!
hello,
presidency University have 4/5 rating. if you want pursue AI/ML in academic as semester subject then you have to pursue CSE/IT branch in BTech/BE. It doesn't matter from which branch you belong, you can read any branch subject but it will be self-study.
In semester subject, They will teach you theories. There is less chance to do practical or do any project based on AI as college has to provide resource to build. you can only do lab work only when you opt for AI/ML project in 4rth year.
for CSE syllabus of presidency college, you can check the link below:- https://presidencyuniversity.in/content/uploads/2019/04/Program-Structure-Computer-Science-and-Engineering.pdf
PU will be best option to pursue Btech CSE in AI and ML as they are focusing more on trending domains like deep learning, computer vision and expert system. they give training to learn programming language like python and it's AL packages.
hope it helps!
