The better option would be do after 12th.After passing 12th, you can enroll yourself in any B.Com degree and Banking and finance as vocational subject because after doing that you will have the option to do M.Com in Banking and Finance.
On the other hand if you will do diploma then you will have less options in future.

It is a one year diploma course which you can do after 12th. It depends on your choice whether you want to do it after 12th or after graduation but there are some colleges which demand graduation as a pre requisite. I would suggest you to do it after graduation. Because you will have more knowledge about banking and finance after graduation rather than after 12th and also graduation will make your diploma more easy to learn.
