The course Criminal Psychology is a subdivision in the field of psychology also some part of science. It is all about studying the techniques to study the nature, behaviour and causes of crime and learning the actions and thoughts of a criminal. Following are some of the courses for Criminal Psychology –

  1. Diploma in Forensic Psychology
  2. Diploma in Criminal Psychology
  3. Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Psychology
  4. Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Psychology
  5. Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology
  6. Bachelor of Science in Criminology
  7. Master’s in Criminal Psychology
  8. Master’s of Science in Criminology
  9. Master of Arts in Criminal Psychology
  10. PGDM in Criminology

In order to become criminal pyschologist you need to do Bachelor’s degree either in ba or bsc in Psychology then do Masters degree in either MA or Msc in pyschology, in the second year of masters you need to choose specialisation.Inorder to become criminal pyschologist choose clinical psychology as specialisation or you can choose criminology in masters.

In order to become practising criminal pyschologist you need to do M. Phil in RCI recognised course. It is a 2 years course where you get trained to become criminal pyschologist.

Criminal Psychology is a super specialized topic in Psychology. So you won't get any course at least in India for this course.

Now to go for the course you need to do a BSc and MSc in Psychology or clinical Psychology after that you choose it as a topic of PhD.
