Correct Answer: Untouchable

Solution : The correct option is Untouchable .

Untouchable was published by Mulk Raj Anand in 1935. The novel story revolves around a day in the life of one of India's lowest untouchables, sweepers who clean up the excreta left by the poor who do not have access to toilets or even outhouses. The central theme of the novel is marginalisation. Mulk Raj Anand was born in a Hindu Khatri family in Peshawar. His literary career was launched by a family tragedy arising from the rigidity of India's caste system.
