Hope your doing good.
Mathematics is a very important subject if you want to score more because the questions are relatively easy when compared to technical subjects. There are also some topics which are sure things to appear in the examination every year like matrices, numerical methods etc. Leaving mathematics is a stupid thing to do. Coming to the books to be followed for preparation,
- Higher Engineering Mathematics – Dr. BS Grewal
- advance Engineering Mathematics – Erwin Kreyszig
- Advance Engineering Mathematics – Dr. HK Dass
- main objective for preparing math for GATE should be concentrating on basics and application of these basics in a variety of problems. Try to concentrate on important topics such as Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equation, Probability and Statistics etc. You will that out that 4 out of 5 questions will be from these topics.
