These are some goods for JEE MAIN preparation.
hope this helps you !!
If you are preparing for jee mains, then you must prepare with the best and with the one which is currently updated.
Because now, the competition for jee mains is very much increased and the different varieties of updates question are seen. And these, old books like hc verma and some board books like Op tandon or p bahadur or rd sharma will not help you. Because for cracking jee exams you have to practice lot of question of different varieties, and these board books just repeat 100 questions of single variety, and therefore every year the thickness of these books increases.
No, doubt hc verma for physics is very good book, but it's questions are mainly subjective type, so it is beneficial for jee advanced.
So, here are the few good books recommendation that will be useful for jee mains as well as jee advanced and by studying these mentioned books, definitely you will crack jee mains or jee advanced with flying colours.
For physics :-
Use CENGAGE physics series book to solve all the questions. Solve all the egs, concept application exercise and if you are preparing for jee mains then focus on solving all the single choice correct along with the integer type question ( because the jee mains pattern has been changed ) . Also solve the appendix section that is given at the end of every 4 or 3 chapters.
For chemistry :-
Physical chemistry - for physical chemistry, solve the complete level 1 from the book : Problems in physical chemistry by narendra avasthi. For theory you can refer cengage books.
Inorganic chemistry - read each and every line of ncert book and if possible remember all the egs from ncert book .
Organic chemistry - for theory you can refer cengage books. And for problem solving you must do it from ADVANCED PROBLEMS IN ORGANIC CHEMISTRY by MS CHOUHAN.
For mathematics :-
Use cengage mathematics book series. And Solve all the egs, concept application exercise and for jee mains focus mainly on solving all the single choice correct along with the integer type question
I hope this helps you.
