Some of the best colleges in Karnataka for campus selection in field of computer science are :
1) National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (NITK)
2) R V College of Engineering , Bangalore
3) Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal (MIT)
4) Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc)
Huge numbers of companies visit these campus every year and recruit many students. I personally study in NITK Surathkal and in final year now. I got placed in a good company in August itself. NITK Surathkal have both CSE and IT branch and both indistinguishable. Top recruiters for NITK Surathkal this year are Atlassian, Microsoft, Intuit, Goldman Sacs, Morgan Stanley, Uber, Cisco and lot more. Highest package offered this year till was by Atlassian with CTC 49.75 LPA. Whereas in 2019 it was 39 LPA. These colleges also offer PPO to large number of interns. Similary, highest package offered by R V College in 2019 was 50 LPA whereas average package was 8-9 LPA. A lot of companies also visits MIT and IISc as well and offers very good packages.
