I would like to inform you that thera are collegs like Jadavpur university, Manipal university which provide illumination engineering courses and you can also try abroad to do lighting design ( illumination engg).

The best option is Jadavpur University it's highly reputed University and among the oldest.
It offers illumination engineering.
Other colleges which offer illumination engineering or related to lighting are Manipal University, Amrita viswa VIDYAPEETH ,vit,srm
