Dear Dhangopalan

As per my prior experience in mechanical field,  I can suggest these books.

R. S. Khurmi(objective and it also includes most important theoretical concepts)

Topic wise previous years solved papers by made easy

You can also prefer the books under G. K. Publications.

Apart from this try to practise more model papers and also mock tests too by keeping stopwatch .  So that you'll get to know how you need to practice and how much time you need to.
