Hey

There is not much benefit of a college/university being autonomous, affiliated or deemed. All depends upon the college curriculum, placements and academies.

  • Autonomous college means, which has no controlling authority above it and it can have it's own curriculum and regulation, like IITs and NITs.
  • Affiliated Colleges are those, which are connected to some Main university which decides the curriculum and examination regulation in all the affiliated colleges. Here the main decision lies with the main university.
  • Deemed University is an accreditation to any institution of it being an University officially.

You can see that Autonomous colleges are independent, but you must choose college depending on your condition and the better records and status of the college.university. For further doubts, ask us.
