I would suggest you to go through the below provided tips and books as these will be helping you in your preparation in a right direction -

2. Read standard books only as there are many books available in the market so it is advisable to use the books which make all your concepts clear and which are easy to understand.
3. Understand the weightage of topics properly.
4. Proper Revision plan should be followed.
5. Mock Tests and Practice Tests should be done as this will help you to learn time management skills and this will also make you familiar with the exam pattern.

As far as Physics is concern i think before solving any book one should clearly feel the concepts.... Then go to solve book like NCERT.. DCPanday/HCV..... For more higher levels one can go to IE Irodov or APSP or SS Krotos.......... This is more than enough for jee nd other national nd international exams....
Finally most scoring subject chemistry...
Only nd only best book for chem is NCERT....... Its an amazing book, ever time i read the book i found something nw.... Besides this one can go for Solomons or IR Finar (Organic), LG for inorganic... Nd RCM for physical........
To strength the basic concept, I would suggest you to prefer NCERT books then go for others. Other books you can prefer given below.
