Hey Srika,
For practicing the maximum number of questions, R D Sharma is a good option as it provides many questions of same type to practice and it also have many solved examples for better understanding. You can also opt. For the R S Aggarwal. Both books are just good enough. But for Theory and understanding, there's no book better than NCERT.
