Each question is for one mark, and 0.25 mark is deducted for each incorrect attempt, You can go through the following recommended books for CLAT exam-
For General Knowledge and Current Affairs, you can refer monthly magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan for covering the dynamic portion though the best way to is reading newspaper on a daily basis, it helps because you don't have to mug up everything at the last moment, for covering the static portion, you can refer Lucent's GK.
For Legal Reasoning, you can use Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning by A P Bhardwaj or Legal Awareness and Legal Reasoning by Pearson.
