hi navneet there are many good books out there for the preparation of NEET , i will tell you how did, but bear in mind it all comes to individual preference and it always varies, i used NCERT text books for all subjects along with my coaching institute materials, question banks provided by them, i also used to solve the arihant previous year question papers, i referred concepts of physics by hc verma, op tandon and jd lee for chemistry, biology @ your finger tips. hope this helps , good luck
Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.
KEEP NCERT + ONE REFERNCE BOOK + MAXIMUM MCQS PRACTICE = Medical SEAT Apart from this, you can add upon it by following books
Physics -
Concept of physics by H C Verma
Fundamental of Physic by Pradeep
Objective physics by DC Pandey
Chemistry -
Arihant Organic Chemistry
Dinesh Chemistry Inorganic
Physical Chemistry by O P Tandon
Objective NCERT at your fingertips Chemistry by MTG
Hope it helps you

Regarding books first of all I would like to say, following NCERT is avishek ki to covering almost all aspects of your Neet curriculum.
For the medicine part of it, book like HC Verma or Irodov might not be an absolute necessity, because physics is not the mainstay of scoring marks usually in medical examinations. A simple text book on Dinesh might be of sufficient help along with study material from some institution like Aakash .
For developing a good concept in chemistry book like OP Agarwal or OP Tandon could be of primary importance.
THE TEXT BOOK FROM VEER BALA RASTOGI ALL THE DINESH BIOLOGY MCQ TEXT BOOKS ALONG WITH THE AIR FORCES STUDY MATERIALS COULD BE OF HANDY USED IN UNDERSTANDING AND MASTER IN BIOLOGY.
Overall it is not really the dependence on which book you are following but understanding the facts, formulas and equations covered in the Neet curriculum at the earliest and their precise application which can be mastered by regular appearance for 10 pound in cq examination which forms the basic key to success in NEET examination.
Hope this helps thank you
The best books you can refer to are the NCERT,

Ncerts are mandatory to have, refer the rest of the books and find out which one suits you. I would advice you not to buy all the books but to refer them and see which one is better for you.
In the end it doesn't depend upon which book is better but how good can you understand the concepts
Also, for the general knowledge subscribe magazines, they will be useful.
Hope this helps.
