Which book is best for physics and please answer according to ur exprience and ur friend exprience . Answer like u are talking to your broth
Hi Shashwat,
For Physics, first of all follow the textbook you are following for your boards, and be thorough with the concept and your basic knowledge of the topic. After you complete each topic, try solving numericals from H.C.Verma. If you want you may follow that book for studying as well. After H.C.Verma is done, try solving questions from I.E.Irodov and the other book by Halliday. The problems of Irodov and Halliday are easy if you understand the concept or what the question is trying to ask you. In my time, I found this problems very difficult, but once our teacher explained it to us, it was like...."It was so simple!!!!". Whenever you are solving numericals, break the statement into smaller parts and understand the problem part by part.
This is all that I remember about my days of studying Physics.
Hopefully this helps.
Hii shashwat,
If you are preparing for various competitive exams then you should surely go for New millennium Dinesh in physics. It really has gone to depth in terms of basic for better understanding .
If you prefer to do numerical for what physics is mostly known with a compact theoretical knowledge. Then, HC Verma is best. It also helps in preparations of iit-jee/neet etc. Like competitive exams.
Both of these books covers the vast syllabus in easy and effective language.
Also, you need to understand is that no magic wand or magic book that can fit Physics into your brain! So, all that is to be done, is to be done by you only. Good mentors, Good material, Good resources.. are all catalysts . Self study is only the key for success
Thankyou
