Hello Seema,
Trueman's elementary biology is a good book as everything is explained very deeply in it and it has a lot of additional information which might be helpful for the 4–5 questions in NEET that come out of NCERT.
85% questions come from NCERT only so if you are thorough with NCERT then only go ahead and read trueman's biology.
Read Trueman only if you have a time period of 2 years. And that too if you have completely understood everything given in NCERT.
If you have only 1 year to prepare or only months left, I won’t recommend reading Truemans.
“Reading NCERT is sufficient. You can easily score 320 by reading NCERT solely.”
Why waste time in other books ?
Better read physics and chemistry more and try to score at least 130+ in each !
Hope it helps.
Hii,
Trueman's objective book is good to go with your neet preparation. Actually both the books are good enough for NEET,it all upto you.
Most important for NEET/AIIMS is your NCERT books as these books include basic principles and concepts and provide accurate information.
Just remember that you are preparing for neet entrance exam not for any PHD level degree, so study accordingly, go with that topic only which are important for the NEET point of view.
Hope this will help.
Good luck
