For preparation you may refer to any book which you find yourself comfortable with. The basic idea is to have all the concepts clear. It is advisory to start from a book which clears the basics. NCERT books are always advisable for preparations.
To move on to further in depth discussions on the various chapters any book may be used. But make sure you don't open a new book right before the exams. The basic idea is to revise thoroughly and know the basics well. A good practise of multiple choice type questions is also advisory.
Wish you success in all your future endeavours.
In case of further assistance you may refer to the careers360 newsletter. For updates on entrance exams, dates, results, and admissions.
Good luck.
The point is whichever book you use, first of all you should have your basics clear. For that you read your ncert textbook thoroughly. After having am overall idea about the book i would recommend you to use mtg guide rather than arihant because mtg has a greater experience in publishing medical books and they khow which sort of questions are likely to be asked in the exams. So you better use mtg guide. I hope this answer is satisfying.
Study the concepts in depth, don't read superficially.
Try to clock 100 hours a week.
Maintain your health
Sleep is crucial, else you'll get exhausted before time.
Form a study group, discuss with friends
Stay motivated.
No pain no gain, you won't get this opportunity again. Make the most of it.
Do not waste time, invest time.
Revisions are the most important
It is said that hand written notes are well remembered than printed material, make your own notes, keep reading it again and again.
The best books you can refer to are the NCERT,
For biology, refer the following.
1) Trueman's Biology vol 1 and vol 2
2) Dinesh- Objective biology
3) Pradeep publication Biology
4) GRB'S Publication Biology.
For Physics refer to he following books.
1) H.C.Verma - Concepts of Physics.
2) D.C Pandey - Objective Physics.
3) Fundamentals of physics by Walker
4) Problems in Physics by I.E.Irodov
For chemistry you can refer the following books
1) O.P Tandon - Physical Chemistry
2) Morrison and Boyd - Organic Chemistry
3) Modern ABC's of chemistry
4) J.D.Lee Inorganic chemistry
5) Dinesh
Ncerts are mandatory to have, refer the rest of the books and find out which one suits you. I would advice you not to buy all the books but to refer them and see which one is better for you.
In the end it doesn't depend upon which book is better but how good can you understand the concepts
Also, for the general knowledge subscribe magazines, they will be useful.
Hope this helps.
Goodluck!
As far as NEET UG preparation are concerned, I will suggest you to not go for any new MCQ or a theory books. Now your focus should be smart way out.
Try to go for Previous year examination papers now. So that you can get an idea about what are different type of difficulty you going to face in Final battlefield. Now start solving previous year papers with a stopwatch by your side to keep check on time.
And these both books are fantastic in their own sense. But I will prefer Personally Arihant for my preparation.
Best of luck for your future Exams.
With Regards
