There are several good books for JEE mains  for mathematics and physics. People prefer HC Verma, for physics, and for maths, Tata McGraw hills advanced mathematics. Most faculties also advise to study from previous papers of JEE MAINS and Advanced. You should focus on clearing your concepts more than anything else. All the best

Dear Mithilesh, I am mentioning you some of the best books for the respective subjects 

Physics - 

1. HC verma i strongly suggest u for concept clearing and its having good quality of examples and unsolved questions.(u can get solution online!)

2.DC pandey and cengage publication are good for practice; personally i prefer to use cengage as its having huge amount of solved question of jee mains level. (both are outstanding in terms of practice)

3.Arihant’s 38 year solved iit jee paper ; solve all the past year jee advance question( iit-jee),,cozz same concepts mostly repeats in current jee main years!!

Mathematics-

1.MCgraw publication- jee main complete mathematics is one of best book i gone through for concepts and quality questions ;but it dosent have more amount of questions.

2.cengage publication and pearson’s mathematics for jee main are the best book for practice as they having more than enough amount of quality questions with appropriate solutions.

3.pk sharma is again best for practise (level 1 and level2) if u had done with above books; i prefer you to solve all level 1 and level 2 questions twice before 1 month of exam.

4.Again this Arihant’s 38 year solved iit jee papers ; solve all the past year jee advance(iit-jee) as same concepts repeats here too!!

Mathematics :

• NCERT ( best in beginning )
• Rd Sharma
• A das Gupta
• Amit m Aggarwal ( Arihant ) ( leave the subjectivr questions or last level )
• Previous 36 years
• Cengage learning ( only numericals )

Physics :

• NCERT ( theory as there is no such good numerical )
• HC Verma ( both theory and numerical )
• Dc Pandey ( only numericals )
• Mishra
• Cengage learning ( both theory and numerical )
• Ie ERODOVE
• Previous 36 year ( Arihant )
• Along with it ;should solve the dpps and master package of any one good institute ( Bansal ; allen ; fitjee ; vibrant etc.)

And solve the questions ; do not try to think and answer directly by assuming that you have done it previously or some day ago.
