Hey!

When preparing for an exam such as CLAT, it is critical for the applicant to ensure that they have the top CLAT 2022 study books. Because if the reading or reference material is poor, the output cannot be far behind. As a result, make it a point to just use CLAT 2022 finest books to prepare for the exam.

English Language- The national-level exam's English language part will have roughly 28-32 questions, or a 20% weighting. Each of the 450-word comprehension passages in this part will be followed by a series of objective type questions. The candidate's language abilities and understanding will be tested in this portion.

Recommended books are:-

English is Easy by Chetananand Singh

Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis

High School English Grammar and Composition by Wren & Martin  Barron’s

Pocket Guide to Vocabulary  Objective

General English by RS Aggarwal

CURRENT AFFAIRS PORTION

The Current Affairs and General Knowledge segment of the CLAT question paper will include about 35-39 questions, with a weightage of roughly 25%. There will also be 450-word pieces culled from news, journalistic sources, and other non-fiction literature in this part. Four or five objective questions will be asked after each passage.

Recommended books are:-

Pearson General Knowledge Manual

Manorama Year Book

Competition Success Review

Lucent’s General Knowledge

India Year Book

Pratiyogita Darpan

Newspapers:

The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Telegraph, Hindustan Times

LEGAL REASONING PORTION

The CLAT 2022 question paper will feature 35-39 questions in the Legal Reasoning section, with a weightage of roughly 25%. The section's questions will be based on 450-word texts and will not need the applicant to have any prior knowledge in order to answer them. Legal issues, public policy issues, moral philosophical inquiries, and other topics will be addressed in the questions.

Recommended books are:-

Bare Acts of Indian Constitution

Legal Awareness and Legal Aptitude by AP Bhardwaj

LexisNexis Butterworths

Universal’s CLAT Guide

LOGICAL REASONING PORTION

The logical thinking component will be weighted at roughly 20%, or about 28-32 questions. Questions will be based on texts that will be roughly 300 words long each. Reading these texts, the applicant is required to derive premises and conclusions, recognise arguments, analyse patterns, and make inferences.

Recommended Books are:-

Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by RS Aggarwal

Analytical and Logical Reasoning by R.S. Aggarwal

Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey

QUANTITATIVE TECHNIQUES PORTION

Quantitative Techniques will be the least weighted area of the five, with roughly 13-17 questions and a 10% weighting. However, this does not negate the value of the section; if the applicant can scrape out a few points, it will all add up to a higher total score, and hence a greater chance of being considered for a seat or a preferred NLU.
