Whatever course you choose includes practical sessions, theres no course without a lab. For example, if you choose CSE, then from 1st year itself you will be going to the lab, executing the programs and you will try to understand how does a compiler work and all. If you take ECE or EEE then you will be learning about the circuit connections how to connect them in series or in parellel and how IC's work which is very intresting and fun to do. If you take course like ME then you will dealing with machines like foundry work, metrology, machine fitting etc in workshop.
Each branch has its own Lab and workshop importance its not that if we are from CSE then we will be working continuosly on laptops or PC's. Every branch has equal amount of weightage for labs and workshops. Its you to decide whether to concentrate more on practicals or theory.

Labs and workshops are not depend on Branch..Each branch have numerous labs and workshops..
Mechanical-Labs Which include design,Analysis,And programme
Mechanical workshop are hardcore workshop in which you have to play with metals and it will use your physical energy..
In Computer field-Labs are for Languages,C,C++,Java,Android,Programming..
& in computer workshop they have special Challanging tasks,Projects and Competition..
same thing with Electrical and Civil field also..So its totally depends on you that what arw the things in which you feel comfortable & Energetic..
