Which branch i should take in KMIT CSE OR IT?
Hello Nikhil,
KMIT is a decent college with decent placements. Also the educational facilities provided are good. Now coming to your question, CSE and IT are both pretty similar branches although not exactly the same and both attracts good placements overall.
Before, I make any statement, I would like to provide you with some insights of cutoffs of both these domains.
- CSE (2020) ==> 3194 | IT (2020) ==> 5377
- CSE (2019) ==> 3123 | IT (2019) ==> 4207
As you can see competition is more in CSE and this will most possibly also attract the recruiting companies during placements. Therefore, if you're getting both CSE and IT, my advice will be to go with CSE.
Hope you find this helpful. Stay motivated and all the best.
