Hello Sai,

If you’re good in mathematics then I must say you should study civil engineering.  mechanical or electrical engineering also be good.

B.tech in chemical engineering is good for you. You can study Mathematics honours also which is Bsc in mathematics.  But if you really want to do engineering then structural engineering would be the better choice.

I would suggest first you see all the engineering branches and think what would be good for you. There is another course B. Tech in Tv production and Media technology. Start searching various courses of engineering and consult and think and then only make the right decision.

All the best!

Hi Sai

Thanks for asking your query. As you mentioned that you are good in math and it is the most important subject of engineering ,you have to make your own choice and decision while taking your branch because it cannot be superimposed on someone without his or her decision. But guess you must go with electrical engineer branch because to much calculation and maths skill is required in this branch

Hi, every branch of engineering has a mix of physics and maths. You have to be good with your maths to do well in your engineering. Whether it is civil, electrical or computer science engineering maths is a necessity. So, now when you have to choose a branch don't do it on the basis of how good you are at math because every engineering branch requires you to be good at math. Choose your branch on the basis of your interest in the the practical use of the branch. For example, if you are someone who is interested in coding and computers then go for computer science and not because you are good at maths. Being good in maths will always help you in all the branches.

All the best!

Hey,

ECE, EEE, Mechanical would be the best for you as it deals with a lot of mathematical calculations and most of the basics from intermediate mathematics. For ECE and EEE, you should be good at intermediate calculus and trigonometry.

Thank you and keep asking. :)

All the three branches deal with physics and each branch focuses on different areas of physics.
