Hi Harsh,
Computer Science and Information Technology appears to be same but in reality they have different objectives.
In IT its all about Software , in CS it all about Sofwtare + Hardware + OS core. So choose the same as per your interest like in software/programing language or in IT infra like network/server/Operating System etc.
In CS, you will be learning how computers work. This could include anyting from computer languages, software design or hardware architecture. It's just you and computer having a conversation. You'll learn many of the same skills in IT
CS is far better than IT. But it is always better to give preference to your choice to do better. Placement will be done in any MNC if you do well in your course. Both the courses are equivalent and have better job placement if you perform well. It all depend on your intrest.
Thank You.
Both the streams are equivalent.
C always sounds good since it has Computer Science in it. But IT on the other hand is like Twin smaller sister of CS . The foundation of both the streams are same and hence none is better then anything. Although if you have a choice like which should i choose, then always go for a better college since maybe after your college you want to get in to a better company for placement.
Again if placements matter to you or the reputation of the college matters to you, then choose the better college. Else both the things are same. Subjects are almost equal and at the end after the end you will eventually end up cooking software[not necessarily but most of the times or any other thing.
But yes again both are same, as foundation or core to them is same.
