If u are interested in coding and programming you can choose CSE.

If you like robotics and automation then you can choose mechatronics , if you like machines related u can choose mechanical , if u are in networking or communication you can choose ECE.

Some institutions also provide courses on artificial intelligence, marine engineering, petroleum engineering.

Apart from these u also make enquiry about the placement of the college before joining, if college provide good placement you can choose any branch. Otherwise it will be tough to get placed.

There is no branch in engineering that is very hard. There is no branch in engineering that is very easy! For instance, if you enjoy coding, then computer science will be easy for you, but if you feel coding as hectic then it will be difficult for you  to study computer science.. In the same way, if you are interested in electronics then EC branch will be easy to you, if not then it will be difficult for you. So I say, EASY and HARD will be based on individual's interest in field. So I would like to know what's your interest of study?

Still, as you asked this question, so I will answer that many people felt Civil Engineering branch is  easy. But I feel it's hard because I'm not interested in building constructions and maintaining all those. So now you might have understood that according to Individuals mindset and way of approach, particular branch is considered as easy.
