The latest trend around the globe in accordance with engineering is computer science and technology. And lakhs of students choose this as a career. Successful people from India do cse from iits and then they either go for IIM or masters degree from abroad. The next trend is electronic and communication engineering which has similar scopes.

There is no specific branch that can guarantee a job abroad. All the branches hold oppurtunities for going abroad. However, the region you might have to go may depend on your branch as those who choose CS have a higher chance of going to US and Europe as compared to other branches and petrochemical branches have job oppurtunities in the gulf countries.
