Hello,

The Polytechnic Department in AMU was establisted in 1937.Now the course that you have asked for are Diploma in Engineering(Electrical) and Diploma in Engineering(Instrumentation and Control). Now both these diploma courses have their own perks.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering course is a 3 years course which can be pursued directly after 10th board exams along with 50% marks minimum and Maths as a compulsory subject.AMU provides placement and training. The course mainly focuses on the practical aspects of electricity power generation, design and equipment.

Diploma in Engineering(Instrumentation and Control) is a 3 years course offered by AMU.The course mainly focuses on management of parameters and development of control systems. The eligibility is the same as above and AMU provides placements along with trainings.

AMU provides placements for the students in the diploma engineering departments.Top companies visit the campus for campus placements.

Now the decision is yours.

Thank you.

Hello Sayyed Uz Zama

As far as branches of Diploma in engineering it totally depends on your interest. It's better if you take your call in this matter. From my side electrical is a better choice many companies like Havells Philips etc give good packages.

There is also a chance of going to IT field also.

Ok good luck.

Hello Sayeed.

Electrical and instrumentation is a better option for diploma.  The faculty is good of the following subjects.  The course is updated to the present scenario and also due to a minor it will help you in your placements.  Your chances of getting a goodbpackage also increases.

Hope it helps.

Dear student,

Both the branches are good,

But Electrical is best branches in the diploma.

Because it's a core branch. And doing the diploma you have various fields to explore yourself.

If further you want to do engineering

There also you can get into various branches.

And now it's totally on your fashion and the interest

Hope for the best

Good luck
