Hello there

It totally depends upon any individuals choice that which is good for her and generally there is nothing like good or bad for women in the field of Engineering but yes some branch is like mining engineering is not basically for women because of some physical incapabilities they might face into it.

But beside that if I tell you my own point of view then the branches like computer science engineering, info  science,ECE,EEE and the branches related to the IT field are much more popular into girls. You will be finding the same gender ratio in these fields. And it's better to go with the options of circuit or software branches if there is a girl. But lastly I would tell you that it totally depends upon any individuals interest that into which field she is getting more excitement and feeling interested.
