Most of the mathematics is present in IT branch as it is the only branch which have Maths in every SEMESTER till 6th Semester.
I repeat NO other branch has Maths for 6 Long Semesters not even CS.So if you are not so strong in MATHEMATICS i would suggest you not to take IT(INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) for B.TECH.

Sagar engineering itself is a mathematical line you can't able to escape from it. If you took CSE / IT branch then also you have study maths till first year and if we say the branch which is purely mathematics then it will Electrical / Mechanical / Mechnatonics. In these branches you have to study maths till third year or may be upto final year.

Its not about any particular branch of engineering having a lot of mathematics. Mathematics is a must for Engineering .
According to me, every branch has mathematics. Mainly the branches ECE, EE, Mechanics have studies of mechanics. Civil too have lot of measurements and requires mostly trigo calculation s.

I think electrical, mechanical, electronics branches have maximum mathematics involved. Although you need to be strong at mathematics if you want to pursue engineering and really want to be a good engineer. Mathematical knowledge is important for all the branches of engineering.
