which branch should i choose after 12 ?? i am pcm student and i want to become an IAS officer
Hello there
For becoming IAS officer you need not to to worry about your stream as every stream candidate can give the civil services examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission and after passing this exam only an Aspiring candidate can become an IAS officer.
So you can take any stream in whichever you feel interested as it won't be becoming your obstacle for giving upsc exam. But if you want to start your preparation from your graduation onwards you can choose the streams which helps in your preparation like bachelor in arts which coincide most of the syllabus as like the upsc exam.
Best of luck!
Thank you!
