See it's variable that is it's varies person to person but still students find ee and EEE tougher than ece but both have to be given equal importance in terms of hardwork for better future ... you are welcome and Best of Luck..

You can try for ece or ee since these branches can help you getting IES exams also which will fetch you class A post job in Indian government in various departments..Best of luck

what about MCE as its cuttoff is lower than EE in IES exams

Yes if you want to take mechanical also then you can take it but you also mentioned for best placement which is currently taken by ece students that's why I told you it's your wish to opt for a branch ...so see for it..
Now iam confusing between EEE and ECE. which will be best according to my situation..

I will advice you to take ece since you will get better job opportunities in both software development and hardware core sectors and you will have a better edge over other students if you work hard ptopepro for four years of engineering rest it depends on you and your interest after all it's your call but bother ee and ece have a lot hardwork to do in all four years
