Which bschool is better between Globsyn and Praxis to pursue PGDM in kolkata?

To know which b school is better, I will compare both of them on various parameters like the exam(CAT,MAT) scores required to get admission, fees, placements, companies visiting the campus, infrastructure, & faculty profile.

GLOBSYN B- SCHOOL:- It was established in 2002 & offers 3 different programmes PGDM, PGDIB, PGDHR means Post Graduate Diploma in Management, International Business, & HR. A candidate can apply by using CAT/ MAT/ CMAT scores, based on which they are shortlisted for the GD/PI stage. The CAT cut off is 70 percentile. Fees for all the courses are same which is 7.5 lakhs for 2 years excluding hostel fees. Placement scenario is fine, companies offer an average of 5 lakhs here, Amazon, CTS being major recruiters. Looking at the faculty profile , most of them have done their Ph.D. from renowned colleges of our country and have got more than 10 years of experience.

PRAXIS B-SCHOOL:- Established in 2007 it offers only PGDM Post Graduate Diploma in Management. It accepts CAT / XAT / MAT/ CMAT scores & do the shortlisting for next stage that is Interview. The cut off is kept at 80 percentile. The college fees is 8 lakhs for 2 years & since it is a residential programme one has to pay for hostel compulsorily which is around 1 lakh per year. Placements are fine considering an average of 5 lakhs with major ITes & banking companies visiting campus. The faculties of institute are pass outs of IIT, IIM with a rich experience of industry & academics.

Based on the above information you can see that if we compare the college fees, placements, & faculty profile then both are similar but if someone is interested in doing PGDHR or PGDIB ,then Globsyn is the right choice. So choose according to your goals.
